About this group:

This group is all about inspiration and fun! Sometimes we can't come up with ideas or be motivated to take photos of our dolls, so I created this group to help spark some inspiration! (pun intended xD )

Each month we will provide a list of words and definitions, your job is to pick any word and portray it through photography! You maybe submit as many photos as you wish, but they MUST have the word you chose in the title or description of the photo, and must be a new photo.

A few Rules:
• This group's focus is BJD photography~ (resin, porcelain, or Dollfies only please)
• If you have multiple photos from one shoot, please only submit your favorite one!
• Submissions are limited to 1 per day.
• Please put effort into your photography! (no blurry photos please!)
• Please remember to let us know the spark you used either in the title or description of your photo.
• Fragments or just parts of a BJD is fine, as long as you are portraying one of our sparks in the photo, anything BJD related is fine!

Thank You!

Quick question; is there some kind of thing you can put on your BJD's face so you're able to touch their face without the face-up smudging. But it's also removable via magic eraser? Because that would be amazing. If there's not, then :'(. XD

I touch my dolls' faces all the time? xD Like, if my hands are super sticky or gross I'll wash them but usually it's OK? But not everyone feels that way so it's kind of all up to personal preference...

not that i know of, just make sure your hands are clean when your touching them or wear gloves ^^, if you have a professional faceup then it will be really hard to mess up the face up unless you purposely scratch it or something xD it won't rub off easily~

Hi everyone! What's your opinions on buying BJDs from eBay? I really want to place an order at BJDBaby or eBay((mostly eBay)). It'd be my first doll. Also, my dolls will be based on the Moganville Vampire series. I'm trying to make a very regal doll, platinum blonde((found the best hair ever from eBay)) she wears very modern, but beautiful clothing. She looks like Charlize Theron with long hair. Any Sites that sell BJDs for cheap like eBay and BJDBaby?

Hello! Buying dolls off eBay is completely fine so long as you make sure they are not a recast Recast BJDs are highly frowned upon in this hoby, and do a lot of damage to the community, and to yourself. (No more toxic than ligit dolls, but the hate and scorn you get for owning one is very harmful to your mental wellbeing.) Their are a lot of dolls on eBay that are legit, but their are also a lot that are recast. I suggest looking into a list of cheap (under $300) BJDs that you can buy. Just google it (if I wasn't on my phone on vacation I'd provid a link for you) and you should find a few different places that have such a list.
You can also find a lot of dolls for under $300 or roughly around that if you browse various sales groups. Facebook has a large BJD collection with many various groups all tuned for selling your BJDs. Denofangels has a marketplace that has a lot of dolls to offer (and a lot of info on general doll care and things) but it is invitation only. Tumblr has a good community for doll information as well.
Hopefully this helps!

Thank you very much!!!
I found this beautiful girl on eBay, seems legit. But she has an open mouth so I'm not so sure, because she'll just not look neutral at all.
I hold no hate against recast BJDs, as long as they are good in quality. If I was to order a recast and it was packaged awfully I'd be so mad. I probably won't add any recasts to my collection, though. Scams and all.
I'll be ordering my doll in 4 weeks time, so I'm pretty excited.
I actually never thought about Tumblr, I'll check that out.
THANKS AGAIN!!
